The Transit Custom's technology takes some of the stress out of your working day, simply by making driving less hassle – especially in urban areas. To make life easier still, the cabin functions as a mobile office, with lots of clever stowage areas and a fold-down table, which is ideal for a laptop. And Ford SYNC with Applink and Emergency Assistance keeps you in touch (by mobile phone) and entertained, hands-free. Even the driving seat is fully adjustable, as is the new steering wheel, to enable you to find the perfect, most comfortable driving position.
The Transit Custom Van is a functional load carrier, with a full-height, full-width bulkhead (glazed or unglazed), which separates the loadspace from the cabin, and the choice of two or three seats in the front. You can specify single or twin sliding doors and choose hinged rear doors or a tailgate.
Available in low roof and high roof. The Transit Custom low roof offers 1406mm of internal load height, the high roof version offers 1778mm of internal load height.
The Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) is the maximum weight of the van when fully loaded.
It ranges from 2500kg to 3325kg to provide 643kg to 1507kg of payload.
Depending on engine and GVM, the Transit Custom can tow up to two tons fully loaded.
